Cuisinart CTG 00 CLD 5 Quart Mesh Colander Review

I love this colander. It's the right size and easy to clean. It should be noted that it doesn't have legs so it can stand above the surface, which can be good or bad depending on what you want to do with it.

Great colander - good value, durable, easy to clean (by hand or in the dishwasher), no nooks and crannies at the top for food scraps to get caught. We bought one, we liked it, and we bought a second one. I've been wearing them for a year now with no problems or obvious wear.

Delivery is very fast! This strainer is larger and higher quality, with a finer strainer that is more versatile (e.g. for pasta, small fruits, sliced vegetables, etc.). Handles facilitate use and protect against hot food. Great groundbait!

This colander is amazing! I had a really hard time finding a large strainer that also has small holes so I don't lose ground beef, thin pasta, etc. when rinsing/sifting. I finally found it! Excellent sieve. The grid is not a "flexible" grid. it's strong Sieve size is large. The diameter is nice and open and the depth is ideal for pouring in and out of a colander. I highly recommend it.
