Cuisinart VWM-200PC1 Vertical Belgian Waffle Maker, 2.3, White Review

I've tried other waffle makers and the vertical one fits the bill. No more overflow! I use the Belgian yeast waffle recipe in the evenings and the results with this waffle maker are excellent.

It works great but be prepared to pour the batter on top of everything else until you learn how to put it in the hole. Thankfully, it's very easy to clean. In addition, the batter must have the right consistency: too thick and you end up with half a waffle. Too watery and boils to the top. I wouldn't recommend making anything other than regular waffles in it.

I love this waffle iron. I love the whole concept of pouring it sideways. There is no need to use oil. I love giving you different temperature settings. And my favorite part, my favorite part, is that it beeps when it's done. I don't like to stand there and watch my waffle being made, I do other things until it beeps. It makes the fattest waffles you can eat half or, son, or whole. The only reason I took off a star for cleaning is because waffle irons are generally pretty difficult to clean…
