Works as advertised. It took about 10 minutes. The Lowe power supply plugged into an outlet in the cargo hold, not directly to the battery. Much easier and less intrusive. Make sure and attach the connectors to the turn signals. They will not engage properly and will disengage, causing your turn signals to stop working.

Works fine but installation instructions have been disabled. The kit works for Edge and Escape and the steps I had were for Escape. They referred to a non-existent hole. I also wanted the cables to run outside the car, which is a recipe for disaster here in the snowy Midwest. But still got it done.

This is the best converter for Ford Escape 08-12 models. The power cable to the battery has a thick insulation that is much better suited for mounting on the chassis, unlike other manufacturers who supply ordinary insulated wire. Installation was easy. My only concern is that they should provide more zip ties to securely install the wires. Overall a great product.

But if you're mechanically inclined, that's fine. The biggest problem is routing the power cable from the battery to the rear of the car. I was able to run a wire through the firewall and through the cabin, removing the door and floor coverings. The plugs fit snugly onto the taillight when reinstalled, take your time and it will fit.

We had a hitch installed and the wiring harness had to be installed with it as a kit. We only used the rear basket which has no light to plug in before driving 4 hours away from where the hitch was installed where we bought the trailer with the lights. Picked it up from Tractor Supply and couldn't find the headlight wiring harness. It arrived quickly and was easy to install. Now we can safely tow our trailer. Many Thanks

The adapter works well and had no problems with it until recently. I originally bought the adapter about 3 years ago. I went to plug in a few days ago and there was no power in my trailer. I found that the crimp connector on the power cable at the rear of the car was corroded and the cable was broken. I remounted it but something must have burned in the module.
