The original cut blue golf balls had an unduly soft finish. I have never used a ball that broke so quickly. I couldn't go more than a few holes without damaging the ball with irons/wedges, which seriously affected the ball's spin on the green. I chose the CUT balls because of the good reviews and the price. Both gray and blue DC are very difficult to feel when driving. I was disappointed with the effectiveness ratings. It felt like hitting a rock. Blue DC had insane spin characteristics. With short chips, the ball shot left with insane grip onto a fast glass-like green.
