I was afraid it would break because the glass should be thin for the price. NOTHING AT ALL! Very nice vase made of thick transparent glass. I am very happy with it.

They have a rounded bottom on the inside so you might not want to use them for candles (unless they're floating) as they will tip. But great for flowers on long stems!

I could have bought something the same size and shape but much better quality at my local craft store for $6-7 but wasted my money instead. $20 for a jar with air bubbles, an uneven top (see photo), and a top half that looks like it came off while the jar was still hot? What waste.

The glass jar itself is not bad. The glass bezel is of good thickness. But this thickness is not the actual thickness of the can body. The case itself is thin. So prone to cracks and breaks. When the glass is unpacked and well insulated in each individual carton. Any dropping or shaking of the boxes can easily damage the glass jar. I bought 6 and they were all damaged when they arrived.

I bought this vessel as an aquarium for opeula shrimp. I hoped for transparent glass of normal thickness and without defects. Although there are a few air bubbles, they're easy to miss.
