    Works great, can't take a hit from behind lol

    Works great. Blinks with direction, but it's not the light's fault. Anything that uses a 4-pin trailer will have this problem due to how the 4-pin power supply works. It was very light but I can't speak about durability because I only used it on a jeep for 2 weeks before the rear of the Miata crushed me and it crashed. Even though it's been beaten to hell, it actually still works! So I think that's a testament to the build quality!

    Frustrated

    I was so excited to get this brake light because I saw it on another car. I bought it in February and have only been using it for a few weeks. I keep getting an error message on my car that my turn signal is defective. I kept trying to disconnect and reconnect, but it kept going. Eventually my husband just took it off after a few weeks. Lost $14. Today I received the order to give myself a review. Before I did that I clicked warranty but it said contact seller. I can't find the seller's contact

    most likely NOT suitable! for hitch accessory

    I had two issues with this hitch light which resulted in a return. (1) The hole for the clutch pin is set 2-5/8" from the spacer and apparently it should have been 1-5/8" for my Lincoln MKX. This resulted in the headlight sticking out of the hitch by a full inch! Unacceptable. (2) The light connectors have a fixed hood cover that does NOT fit the vehicle connector cover! So I couldn't connect this light even if I wanted to keep it. Unacceptable. (My damaged previous hitch had neither of these…

    You get what you pay for

    The first thing I did when I received the clutch cover light was read the instructions. Pretty straightforward and easy. Then I came to the maintenance area. In addition to cleaning the lens cap with soapy water, it has been said that it is necessary to periodically check that the lens cap is securely attached. Hm? Why not?     Great value alternative item for Exterior Accessories

    2012 Jeep Wrangler. As mentioned in the previous review, this turn signal will not flash unless the brake is applied. Otherwise a temporary solution until I update the taillights. It seems cheap to me to have 12 separate LEDs, I prefer the combined glow. There is no foam pad for the receiver and it hangs inside with a pin.     Improved design works better and fits better!

    This one I received in August 2019 is a huge improvement over previous reviews. All the wires are now connected so you get a (dim) tail light when the headlights are on and it will NOT flash if you ONLY use the turn signals (any). Of course, it only lights up when braking. Now if you brake AND signal (left OR right) it will flash. This is not a malfunction but a limitation of the 4 wire trailer harness.     Doesn't work on newer cars

    Like others with newer cars, 2018 Ram 2500, 2 lights I ordered didn't work as advertised. When the left signal was on and the headlights were off, the headlights blinked dimly, as if there was a short in the system.     As far as plug and play goes, these 4 pin brake light hitch covers all share the same limitations. That is, a 4-pin trailer plug has a left turn, a right turn, an end, and a ground wire.
