Replacing the original gear knob on our Volkswagen convertible with a new one took only a few minutes. Works great and looks identical.

The automatic transmission knob on my 1997 VW Eurovan is cracked and brittle. This replacement is almost identical and fits perfectly. The replacement process was very easy and fast, it only took a few minutes. Only a 4mm hex or hex key was required.

Looks like an old automatic transmission knob. Full button function. No loud clicks and cheap feel. I couldn't tell it from the original VW gear knob on the VW itself.

According to other buyers, this item fits the VW Cabrio perfectly and is extremely easy to assemble. The price is unbeatable and I can recommend it unreservedly. The delivery was quick and on time.

All VW parts suppliers state that the Eurovan (pre 2003) shift knob is 'no longer available'. This knob is the same except the knob is black instead of chrome. I bought one to try on my 2000 electric car (instead of a used $100 switch) and it works great.
