Absolute nonsense for such a price! I softened the front of the case to make it easier to insert the handle and close because out of the box the case was tight as a tiger and didn't want to damage my duofold. Any. The leather is about 1/8" thick all the way around, stitching looks good, no fraying but time will tell! The skin itself is of decent quality, it soaked up LP without feeling oily and damp afterwards I'll buy a few more!

I liked the simple design of this case, real leather and that it fits two of my gel pens. It seems to be durable, but I've only had it a few months so I can't rate it yet. I originally bought this to carry around a pair of fountain pens. But for my shorter grips, it's a little awkward to attach two grips at once. This pencil case looks stylish, works well overall and is made from fairly durable leather. That's three pieces. The seams are even and strong. Yes it's nice leather but it's so narrow I could hardly fit a ballpoint pen let alone a fountain pen. And of course, once the pen was in, I couldn't even begin to open the flap. It was a good idea and it looks good, but it's utterly useless. When I tried to pull the pen out again, the skin held it so tight that the cap just fell off. Ideal for protecting a nice pen or other high quality EDC item in a bag. I'm an established leather snob (I own a few Frye and Saddleback pieces) and was surprised by the quality at this price point. The two I ordered even have the amazingly telltale smell of good leather. It's incredibly flexible and quickly takes on your chosen EDC character.
