They work well but I only gave them three stars because two of the bins had cracks that were difficult to enter in the closet. Luckily I don't leave anything on the floor due to my moisture issues. If I did, I'd have an even bigger mess.

They absorb some moisture but are very, very slow compared to hanging bags. The difference in the amount of water these containers collect compared to bags is just amazing. I'm sticking with odorless hanging bags for my closets going forward and won't be ordering such containers again.

I bought 3 of these - one each for the laundry, the bathroom and under the kitchen sink. They work great. My apartment no longer smells musty. I've had them for about 2 months now and I haven't had to empty them yet which is amazing. I love that there was an unflavored option as strong scents can give me a headache.

Crystals absorb moisture, but as long as no water has collected at the bottom of plastic containers. Hopefully they will work against mold and mildew. We use the air conditioner at a constant temperature of 76 so it pulls a lot of moisture out of the air. It's very hot, it rains almost every day, but everything seems to be under control now.

I have an old car that often smells moldy after heavy rain. Leaving the canister with DampRid (no odor) solves the problem. It works great and I was surprised at how much moisture it draws from the air. The larger reservoir seems to be the most economical, I attach it to the seat or floor panel and seal part of the lid with tape to keep from spilling while driving. I installed one of these in my damp basement but after a few weeks there was no water in the tank meaning it wasn't working. I've used the Dri-z-Air device and it works great - after a few days water starts to build up. My only issue with the Dri-z-Air is that the basket hanging over the tank is awkward to fill and difficult not to spill the crystals.
