Quick and easy fix after nearly a week of water in the tank. The old one ripped and sagged. The fit on the threaded rod is tight enough to prevent slipping.

Our toilet float broke off the metal bracket and stopped working. The rest of the guts worked fine so I had to look to Amazon for a replacement. It was cheap and it worked perfectly. The exchange took 2 seconds, there were no problems.

Mine came unthreaded. It wasn't bad, I just took pliers to hold the bar and some muscle to screw it on and for that I had to remove the bar. This float can't cost more than $1 to make so $8 seems a little high to me, but it only took about 15 minutes and the toilet is back up and running with no plumbing bill.
