The seams are so tight that the cards inside cannot be removed. The card's outer sleeve has an open area so you can remove the card with your thumb, but. Here's something I deleted to make room for it: the makers of this wallet agreed with me to remove the card since I've used the wallet and generously offered to replace it with a smooth leather wallet of the same design.
