    Good timers in the kitchen and dining room

    Great little timers! I've used them a lot for various assignments my students have been working on over the past year. I was pretty paranoid about them being glass timers, but I chose one student to hold and control the timer, and that became a special "job" in my class.

    Perfect for kids with a timer

    Bought this because our daughter was having trouble getting dinner on time - now she can 'see' how much time she has left. Plan to use shorter ones for other things like cleaning and timing out. Love the bright colors and the time is written on every hourglass. My kid also loves the unicorn bracelets that come with it. I have already recommended it to another teacher!

    Nice but with some flaws

    They appear to be of great quality and very pretty but sometimes the sand gets stuck so you need to keep an eye on them. Also, if you have a child with behavioral issues, I would have plastic surgery. My son threw one across the room and I had broken glass everywhere. And it's not safe, easy-to-clean glass. I've cut myself more than once while cleaning.

    30-minute timer defective (sand gets stuck). The rest is mostly functional.

    They looked fantastic but I was sad that my 30 minute timer didn't work (which was the most important thing for my purposes). Sand gets stuck and no longer flows. 1 minute is accurate, 3 minutes is a few seconds fast, 10 minutes is about 10 seconds slower, and 5/15 is pretty close (everything is acceptable enough for my use), just 30 minutes of playing around.

    super cute on timer

    I really liked these timers. They look the same as in the picture. The only downside is that they are glass but that's not the carriers fault, I didn't read them carefully and my 3 year old loves them which is why I bought them. They haven't hit the ground yet so I guess that's the only thought I'm scared of because I know it's going to happen at least once. Definitely still a great buy and wonderful colorful sand.

    Stopped timing, started jamming

    A few months of regular use (15 minute timer to keep kids at the table) and it just stopped pouring sand. You can shake it and it will work again, but this has happened many times, which defeats the point of using it as a timer. I would return but we are outside the window. As I've been sitting here for a week now, my desk reminds me to write this review and it's not even 15 minutes! Magic!

    Good Quality - Kitchen Utensils and Gadgets

    I liked the quality. The glass is thick, not thin. Good product weight. They're also beautiful to look at, and since they have to be on the counter to really use them. We use them to give our adult son with Down Syndrome (developmental delay) a time frame for chores above all the chores he needs to do at home. They work better for both of us than electronic timers because you know at a glance how much time you have without thinking.
