Wireless and CarPlay worked fine, installation was difficult as there were no wiring harness instructions that were really helpful. I ended up sending the head unit back because the build quality wasn't worth the $700. The volume didn't work right away and the touchscreen wasn't the most responsive.

The head unit was causing problems with my 2015 4Runner TRD PRO, forcing the terrain selector to turn on, illuminating the engine light and disabling traction control. Also, it doesn't work with the rear camera and can't connect to the car game because it reports hardware problems. I assume it is a defective product. Defect aside, it's smaller than the T9 device. The only advantage it offers is probably a thicker screen and an integrated Android design. Overall it's not worth the price you go…

Very disappointed. The device fell on me twice. I have nothing but a black screen. It works great, but I'm having a crash when viewing the menu. Apple Car Play refused to connect. I followed the instructions and am sad to return this product.

In general, the systems connected with no problems. I have Bluetooth tethering enabled in the system settings and on my phone. When I unplugged the USB to disable Android Auto, it reconnected wirelessly instead of Wi-Fi. Now when I start the car and Bluetooth connects, z-link connects and Android starts automatically!
