All I really needed was a small kettle that could be heated on my table to make tea. However, there is one design feature that makes this device difficult to keep clean. In the middle of the lower part of the cabin there is a slightly separated metal platform, round and slightly elevated. First off it's under $20 on Revain so my one exception doesn't matter but it's still worth mentioning in case the manufacturer wants to make a slight improvement. This device does what it says on the tin and yes, it boils water in less than 4 minutes. It's great for cooking anything from ramen to frozen veggies, it's definitely good for dorm rooms, RV's, small business owners who might want to have dinner in their backyard, etc. You're only limited by your imagination.
