A perfect (Not an "Add ON " Look) Fit on a 1999 GMC Sierra 3500 Crew Cab SLT

When I dry fit the skin to the dash, it was such a perfect Fit that I almost could not get it off to apply the adhesive. I was honestly a little skeptical at first but after the dry fit, I knew there would be no issues in getting it in. The key to a perfect fit is making sure it is pressed down in all areas as the glue tends to not spread out unless it is pressed. Weight on the skin, Masking Tape, Foam wedges on each end with doors closed and cardboard wedges next to the windshield helped. I…

Cheap, warped after a few weeks. Had to trim to fit

It’s very thin and flimsy. Had to trim a bit for a good fit…. But then a few weeks later it warped horribly by the dash vents under the windshield and looks like crap…. Next time I’ll just buy a good used dash…. this is only worth buying if your wanting to spruce up a beater truck with a very bad dash in it…. Other then that don’t waste your time and money. it is over priced

Excellent product. Fits great and looks like factory. Very hard to tell its not original. Mine did not require any trimming

Good solution for the issue

All 90s Chevy truck owners will experience the cracked dash. Replacing it is near impossible and GM doesn't make that part anymore. I bought this item being rather skeptical but, it didn't disappoint. Fits decent and looks great. The only fit issues I noticed were it not fitting as tightly around the passenger side airbag. Test fitting and a slight trimming took care of that tissue. Highly recommend.

SUPER EASY TO INSTALL

This product is amazing! Very easy to install. About 45 minutes. Do your homework read the tips on this site and in directions. Gorilla Tape is your friend and you will be so glad. Our friend that is a mechanic thought we got a new dash. Wish we would have taken pictures the difference is night and day. My husband was so skeptical but is now so impressed and amazed. Such a great product! THANK YOU DASHSKIN!
