Great headset in headsets and intercoms

I use it in an Airbus 320. Very comfortable and the noise cancellation is very noticeable. The battery life is still high after about 5-4 days of driving. I was concerned about the blinking green light, but if you press and hold the bluetooth button and power button at the same time for a few seconds, it stops blinking.

Pros
  • For quiet cabins

No registrations. Not even a letter.

I wish I had bought one a few years ago. I used Telex 850 in Dash-8 for 8 years. One of the headphones stopped working after 2-3 years but I still mostly left the mug on one side so it didn't bother me. I was thinking about buying another set but decided to give the Bluetooth enabled Pro-X2 a try as I'm on the bus right now and I love the idea of being on some of the longer flights (just hopping, of course). ). I love the sound and the build quality. Buy with confidence.

Pros
  • Automatic Gain Control for optimal ANR in noisy environments
Cons
  • Upgrades

ANR is useless due to the built-in "white noise ".

Sorry. I gave them a second chance and they didn't make it. I have a Bose A20 and I'm tired of taking up too much space in my bag. DC is lighter and much smaller. I'm on the A321 and Bose has the plane whispering softly. As for DC, I can't even say they are ANR. As soon as you turn them on, there's an annoying electronic hiss, almost as loud as the cockpit fans. This negates the ANR function almost completely. This is the SECOND pair I've tried. They BOTH have bad white noise hiss. I'M DONE…

Pros
  • Advanced Noise Cancellation - Bluetooth Technology
Cons
  • Almost OK

Excellent but one fatal flaw

First, Marv Golden is the best manufacturer of aerospace products. The headset was delivered within a day and a half. As for the headset itself, a bit of context: I'm a new Airbus pilot and retired from the military 7 months ago. Thanks to army helicopters, I don't have the best hearing. I used the ship's headsets (telex) but kept trying to take radio calls. I skipped them at times and really had to focus on what was being said in order to understand and obey. Above 18,000, as per the status…

Pros
  • Manufacturer's 5 Year Limited Warranty
Cons
  • Quality
