This heater melts wax well but the heater is darker than pictured and looks almost black. However, my biggest concern is how hot the ceramic part gets. I timed it and within 20 minutes it's too hot to touch. I have to be very careful and turn it off afterwards, so my advice is to never leave it on and unattended!

Every time my neighbor walked in he said he LOVE the smell of my house. He sniffed the scented wax with the pecan brownie incense sticks! So I ordered him the same set for Christmas. Now he can love the smell of his own home. I have several different types of these wax heaters, both desktop and plug in, and both are efficient and get the job done. It's worth it. I also bought him two spare bulbs as I leave mine on all the time and the bulbs tend to wear out. Bulbs should be 15 watts. I'm happy…

Works great, looks great and the light isn't too bright to get in the way. I left it on for a few hours as I use it every day and haven't had any issues. I love that I don't have to worry about overheating and I also use liners to avoid mess and the wax melts really well. It is durable, well-made ceramic and looks very elegant. You can't go wrong with the price, I have several other very expensive brands and I have to admit I don't see any difference, it's comparable, I highly recommend it.

Definitely a nice addition to my bathroom but no matter what I do the person doesn't sit up. There's always a slight incline where I have to be careful not to let the melted wax spill out. Please be careful when changing the wax if you're like me and change it while it's melted as it gets VERY hot. The plastic that surrounds the bulb is also cheap and breaks easily. Again this is a lovely addition to my bathrooms, just wish they weren't as hot as they are now. Use an old towel to unscrew if you
