Dayton Audio DCS165 4 Classic Subwoofer Review

Built a box for it and hooked it up to my Nobsound audio amp/subwoofer. Sounds very good. Acoustic suspension at the moment, not sure I will port it to see if it sounds better.

I used it to add a subwoofer to my RV sound system. I built a 0.5 cu ft vented box set up following the instructions on the parts express website. It works great in this app.

Used in 2 special sealed boxes hidden over the tire wells in a 2019 Wrangler JLU. Boxes are sealed approx 0.5CF filled with Wadding Soundstream PN2350D 350W to drive them through the factory stereo They fill the bass like two 10" woofers. I installed this adapter at a 45 degree angle in the space between the kitchen cabinets on the wall. I was limited by the space available, so size 6-1/2. I bought these for a bluetooth speaker I made. These were dedicated low frequency subwoofers and they do the job well for a 6 inch subwoofer. I also bought 1" tweeters, 4" mids and regular 6" mids for the left and right main channels. These subwoofers added the desired bass response I was looking for. I really like Dayton Audio stuff.
