Extra large. There is nothing special or ornate about it. I was going to give it as a gift but it didn't even come in a nice box so I sent it back.

great. Perfectly replaces the "one" that is gone. We had one that mysteriously (not exactly) started leaking large amounts of sand.

So perfect for my Harry Potter party. I needed something that could look good, sit high and have a flat top to let in some light. That's great! Looks great, well made and arrived quickly.

We just got it today and are very satisfied. The silver color is brushed nickel, which looks very elegant. It's the centerpiece of our kitchen table so our kids don't have to spend ages eating lunch :). The only reason I'm giving it a "4" is because the tabs have white foam pads on the end which look quite tacky (although they prevent scratching the table which is a bonus) and not shown in the picture will. Product.

I spent several hours looking for the perfect hourglass before settling on this one. The size, design, materials, finishes and craftsmanship made me believe I had made the best choice.
