Just what I needed

They worked perfectly. I drive a 2008 Toyota Tacoma and got a free tool box from a friend. All I had to do was just drill a few holes where I needed those screws and voila! The small part of the clamp that the bolt screws into fits perfectly into the small track system along the edges of the bed.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Quality

Perfect mounting system for Toyota Tacoma with body rails

I used these to mount the Lowes Kobalt 1000 compact body to my 2011 Toyota Tacoma with body rails. The recommended Grip Rite mount will not work with the Tacoma bed rail system, but these mounts will get the job done perfectly at half the price. The hold is very firm. Very glad I found her.

Keeps it for power tools and hand tools

Bought a new light truck container because inflation happens every day. Very nice box but there were no clasps. So I looked for another brand of tie to get my $12 back. They work great even if it's an overpriced set of bolts and fancy machined nuts. As long as you have holes in the edges of the truck body and your truck has some sort of handrail you can get caught on, they will get the job done.

  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Not bad

Secure your tool box without drilling holes in your truck!

I installed a pair of these on my 2015 Tundra 1794 and they worked fine. I love not having to drill a hole in my truck's metal body and these cable ties provide the perfect solution. They are securely fastened to the tundra platform's shelving system and have my UWS toolbox tightly locked. I can't believe truck accessory shops would 'fix' your toolbox by drilling holes when such a solution exists. Great product, fast shipping - couldn't be happier.

Pros
  • Great design

  • Has some quirks

NOT for Ford aluminum beds, incorrect installation Revain

This product is suitable for most applications, but NOT for aluminum beds (Ford f-150 2015+, some newer f-250 models). Revain says these parts are compatible with these trucks and shows packaging showing no discrepancies. However, when I received it, there was an updated package that specifically stated that it was not to be used on an aluminum bodied Ford, but was to be used instead (Dee Zee DZ97910 Ford, aluminum bed, tool box, zip ties). Then I bought DZ97910. Great product and perfect fit…

Buyer beware Toyota Tacoma

I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma and recently bought a truck bed. Several forums I read online suggested this was a great solution for mounting a truck body to a Tacoma body track system. What I received was completely different than pictured and did not match the Tacoma bed rail system. I'm not sure if DeeZee recently redesigned this part or if it's an incorrect packaging issue, but I received 2 sets (4 sets total of the same gear) and they don't match the Tacoma. The screws are thinner than…

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Great deal

This is a great attachment system for any truck crate, replacing the weaker factory J-bolts found on most crates. Please note that most truck tool boxes, even the most expensive ones, have 1 mounting point. on the side. Many reviewers have mentioned that you buy 2 sets so you can attach two hooks on each side. But in reality, this can damage your tool kit and void your warranty. Two attachment points on each side can stress the box and damage the structure over time. Be sure to read the…

Great tool box mounts with strong clamp

I used these to attach a flat 63" gloss black tool box from Northern Tool + Equipment to my wife's 2000 Chevy S-10 ZR2. I chose to use four of these on opposite sides to mount the toolbox instead of the Grip-Rite mounts. It is recommended that Grip Rite mounts only use one on each side and opposing slots on each side, as using offset locations may cause the toolbox lid to bind and become inoperable. I would love to use Grip-Rite bindings but according to some online customer reviews they can…

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive

Huge difference! Installed with UWS box on a 2010 Silverado 1500

I didn't really like the J-bolts that came with my factory UWS box. Even after being expertly installed, the box moved a little. When I got home I played a little more and after tightening the screws it became more reliable, while the box's contact surface deformed slightly.Dee Zee mounts are included. Words cannot express exactly how satisfied I am with this product. Once installed in place of the factory J-bolts, the box was very secure without over tightening. It takes a bit of fiddling to…
