Perfect Tool for Chamfering Needs

This chamfering cutter is a game changer! Based on my experience, it's a must-have accessory for anyone who needs precise and clean cuts. It’s perfect for metalworking and other industrial and scientific applications. What I love about this tool is its perfect and consistent chamfer performance. It eliminates the need for manual chamfering, which saves me lots of time and produces a high-quality finish. The only downside I can think of is that it requires some knowledge and skill to use, but…

Pros
  • Allows for efficient chamfering and countersinking in one tool
Cons
  • Requires some manual effort to properly align and adjust the cutter for precise results

Bought by mistake for V-tapping

I mistakenly bought these for V-tapping. They are not designed for that use. They are milling cutters and countersinks. No fault of the They are excellent for their purpose, but do not make a clean cut.

Pros
  • 1/4" round shank fits all hand and bench drills
Cons
  • old

Poorly machined and dull

The machining marks look like the tool used was remarkably dull. The surface finish looked as if it had been finished with an unbalanced angle grinder. The cutting edge was far from an edge that would only stain and scratch the metal it was used on. Even after all its imperfections have been addressed with files and whetstones, it is still unusable. Its angle is uneven which causes one edge to do all the work before I sharpened it and I couldn't straighten it afterwards.

Pros
  • Material: High carbon steel
Cons
  • Minor issues
