I used this to countersink the mounting holes for a 1/2" mild steel plate on a welding table. At first I used a high speed steel bit with modest results. left with an HSS bat. I used a very low speed as this bit has a lot of grooves. I left a very clean surface. Very satisfied

Having used many different styles and brands over the years I am tired that this bit is different. Just to make sure I could get the job done I ordered 2. One was more than enough and was still sharp enough to do 10+ jobs. I was very impressed with the quality of this tool and would happily do it again.

Ordered this about 2 months ago. It wasn't spicy at all. I thought this must be a mistake. I got another one last week. It wasn't a mistake. It's like trying to sharpen with a worn out knife. What a waste of money and reduces my productivity until I can get a new one from another company

Excellent product to organize. Used for enlarging holes, smoothing welds, trimming sheet metal edges. Just a handy item to have on hand. I might only use it a few times a year, but it's worth it. Holds well when grinding welds on cutter deck. Works great on my electric drill.

It's endless sticking with aluminum while trying to create a countersink at the right angle. I would never buy one of these again and instead just use a grinder to get the drill bit the same size. Maybe that's good for wood or plastic, but definitely a disaster for aluminum.
