Earth pin broken after two weeks. When I connect the cable, there are many sparks. It's good that I still have the original cable from my laptop, which still has all the contacts even after 7 years. I bought this item as a replacement and for some reason it won't stay on. There is an indicator built into the cable to tell you there is power when it's not connected to the laptop, which in my case is a bit misleading as the capacitors in the box keep the light on despite no power to the box flows for some time without real power. We ordered two of these power supplies for our laptops so we could have two workstations without running the power cords. They're labeled as genuine Dell PSUs, and while one worked great, the other was DOA.
