Dell Inspiron Laptop Charger Adapter Review

When the notebook is plugged in, it runs on AC power but the battery doesn't charge. My laptop is listed in the description. waste of money

Does not work with 5559 although it is written that it works. My laptop immediately went into diagnostic mode and gave a huge warning that the charger was wrong. The laptop does not work when the charger is connected.

I wish I had read the reviews before buying this product. i give it back My computer doesn't recognize it. It's supposed to be Dell, but it doesn't work as such. My computer won't charge. Also the fork is not standard. I've never seen anything like it. Very disappointing. This product really should be removed.

I bought this when I thought I had lost my original Dell power adapter/charger. I've only used this replacement a couple of times but have found it to work intermittently. I believe the connector that goes into the laptop's charging port is badly soldered. There seem to be a number of issues with this device. Please note that the guarantee is 1 year.

Don't order any of these! I rarely write reviews but I can't help but tell people how awful they are. I bought 3 and only one is still working less than two months later. Not to mention that 45W isn't the standard 65W of the original. But it's my fault for not covering that part better. I take my laptop to my three offices and wanted a charger in each one. They stay in one place and are not overused in any way.

I strongly suspect that it is a fake. It works, but the connection to the computer is not entirely correct. If you look closely in comparison to the original, then there are differences in the lettering. ***Update: This does not provide consistent or correct power to charge the computer. This is clearly a fake. See how the label differs from the actual Dell product. Shame on Revain for making this "Revain's Choice" even though it's a fake!

This power supply is complete crap! It lights up but doesn't charge my laptop. I bought it as a spare when I go abroad for business. I had a brief business meeting in Florida and decided I would agree. Well it didn't work out. My Dell computer's BIOS warning sensor reported that my computer had a power problem. Passed 3 of them. I'm constantly unplugged but not charging on my laptop. I know it's not a battery issue because I used my mom's laptop which uses the same power cord and laptop and works with my laptop. It does not require a 2-pin power supply as it has a 3-pin wall socket. Could it be the power supply from the two prong power adapter I keep using with it that is causing the problems breaking them?
