Although this charger works with my laptop, I'm not sure if it's a genuine Dell charger. The quality seems poor and it works when I plug it in. This product is also not available on dell.com. I bought a new charger directly from the Dell website to ensure I was getting a genuine product - it was a lot more expensive than this charger.

This fixed my problem of the computer not charging even though I could get 19 1/2 volts from my other charger. Do not charge the computer. But this thing puts out 19.84 volts, I don't know what the difference is, but this thing started charging the battery right away and my other adapter won't. So lesson learned

I had high hopes for this, my genuine Dell charger started playing recently when I needed it for school. It wouldn't charge unless I was playing with the cable and was sensitive, so I bought it hoping it would charge. It charged ONCE and then decides to fail on me. I can never again rely on this product, not buy it. I ended up buying a new laptop because Dell's online return policy seemed sketchy and I didn't want to put myself through the hassle.

This is not the charger it says it is. The first model number is not HA65NS5-00. The second model number listed is LA65NS2. These model numbers are not interchangeable as the LA65NS2 has a much larger connector and cannot be used. I don't know why these models are listed together but that amounts to false advertising and just the added hassle of returning a useless charger if you want the HA65NS5-00.

I used the model number of the charger that came with my laptop to find a second one. I found cheap ones and wasn't happy with the reviews so stayed away from them. I bought this one because I felt it was exactly the same as Dell, just like my original. However, the cable is not the same. It has a second part to make it work with my computer.
