Too bad they never stopped using docks like this. The power alone makes this very important but just being able to walk into the office and put my laptop back and it connects to everything is great and as a bonus it also powers and charges my laptop. Most port replicators I see for new laptops still require you to plug in your laptop. Great piece, I could really get a second one.

I paid less for this docking station and power adapter than I would pay for the power adapter alone! There are many Dell laptop docking stations out there but some of them come with a 240w adapter which some laptops require so you will need to bring your own. But I really needed a replacement adapter and this package delivered. It worked out of the box and is a great setup for a second/portable office.

During the pandemic I set up a studio in a barn behind my house to leave lights, cameras etc there for quick video shooting and conferences to hold . Having to disconnect and reconnect everything on my laptop was becoming a hassle. This little docking station really nailed it. I can set it up really easily and start recording or broadcasting. Great for giving your laptop a desktop feel when sitting at your desk.

Only bought this because the power connector on the laptop had failed and it was easier to get than to try to fix the laptop. I first discovered an issue with the Latitude E6210s that slows down the system and causes the trackpad to become unusable. The only solution I've found for this is to disable the Intel SpeedStep option in the BIOS. The seller stated that the Precision 7720 is compatible with this product. As soon as I connected it to the e-Port and turned on the computer, the screen on the laptop lost 1/4 of the left side and is now damaged. port replicator works as Dell says however there are some issues with this item. First, it ended up in a bubble-wrapped box, not Dell packaging. Second, the PSU is not a Dell branded item (as shown in the photo), it is an aftermarket item and was DOA. The port replicator itself has been overwritten.
