Denso 221 3101 Radiator Review

Excellet; there are no leaks, the engine is cold with the air conditioning on. I used to get warm because the core was old. Very good fit and functionality, exchange takes 45 minutes; and I drove slowly. Eric

Although the dimensions are not identical, the radiator is easy to fit. It took a few tries, but the fans installed without any modifications to the radiator. The top mounting points of the heatsink seemed to be offset by about 1/3 inch, but I reinstalled the heatsink with no modifications. The quality looks no worse than the previous block.

Fits perfectly. No problem, they changed it in 30 minutes. Highly recommended instead of local car networks as these coolers are not OEM ready and you can spend a lot of time cutting or drilling brackets. I had that with another car. Would definitely buy the Denso brand again. Couldn't tell the difference between a Denso radiator and an original Toyota radiator.

I loved this radiator! it was the perfect match! and it looks like it's made of good material! The reason I gave it 2 stars is because when I opened the box I noticed that the slats were damaged in various places. I couldn't go back to Amazon because I've had the van in the garage for 2 days now and it will probably be another 2 days or more before I get another one but !AMAZON! Item arrived on time, double boxed, well packaged, no visible damage. The fit on my 1998 Sienna was PERFECT, everything fit perfectly. Filled with antifreeze/coolant and ignited. Coolant sprayed everywhere! In less than a minute I ran out of all coolant. Things are leaking all over the floor. What a waste of time. The box says "DENSO" but it's made in China so it could be fake. Doesn't look like Denso quality.

Radiator arrived undamaged and was mostly installed correctly. The only problem was that the driver's side plastic fan was misaligned with the top screws. The metal passenger side has held up well, so I suspect the plastic side has stretched or warped in some way over the years. Maybe the cooler is defective? Almost half an inch too short. It doesn't matter, because the fan on the driver's side is only screwed on from above and mounted on brackets from below. I installed it with some zip ties…

We received the same part number as this item and all three upper threaded bolt holes on the item received were approximately 1 inch. of (horizontal) alignment with the holes in the fan frames that are to be bolted to the product. I picked this item (and paid a little more) because of the name "Denso" (often an OEM source for Toyota and other manufacturers).
