When I tried this product, I was amazed by how intricately designed and detailed the figurine was. It truly captures the spirit of the holiday season in a scene that can easily be placed on any mantle or surface. The quality of the materials used also ensures that it will last for many years to come. The only con is that it is a bit on the expensive side, but it is definitely worth it for the beautiful addition it brings to the holiday decor.

I have bought 6 gift sets for friends who work with me in the church charity - the first year I gave them a Dept. 56 Sister of the Abbey gift - it was very well received, this year for another church benefit concert we are attending all work, I give credit to the 56 city government. It is difficult to find beautiful and affordable monastic novelties. That's great!

I actually collect Lemax buildings and figures. But sometimes, when I want to go broke, I'll buy a Department 56 for double the price. I've bought abbey nuns, a Chinese choir from A Christmas Story, and trees (not a hairbrush type) over the years. They are beautiful. When I get money, I buy more. I used to spend most of my time in town before Christmas, but I couldn't afford it. The faces of these nuns are beautiful.
