Description of 🔩 Dernord Threaded Fitting Ferrule for Sanitary Use

Pipe Size: 3/4" NPT Thread. Ferrule Size: 50.5mm, and fits 1.5" Tri-clamp. Two fittings are clamped together with a high temp silicone gasket in between. Made of stainless steel 304 for resistance to corrosion and high temperatures. Suitable for use in food, beverage, and dairy applications.

Good fit - also buy rubber band wrenches

Excellent quality. Threaded pipes Craftsman make a 4" model that works well for this, at a reasonable price (and useful for other purposes). ).

Well made and works great at a lower price

The fitting itself was well made and cost a third or less than I could get from a regular dealer However when I got the part I wanted I received the wrong fit twice (one was male when it was supposed to be female and the next was 1.5" NPT instead of the 2" I ordered) DERNORD and Revain both have Worked quickly to fix the issue and got what I needed even though it took a few extra days.

Good product but wish it had flat surfaces to tighten with a wrench.

This is a good triple clamp for my home brew but I didn't realize it didn't have flat sides so it can be tightened with a wrench. Either I missed it in the description or I didn't look closely at the pictures. You will need a strap wrench or pliers. Hand tightening didn't work for me. Even with teflon tape, rubber grip tapes, and pliers to block the duct, I couldn't get it airtight where it screws into the copper tubing. But it's a very slow decline so I'll live with it. Sigh.
