They give 1 or 2 stars, overreact. I love this thread because it is thick. If you are looking for a thick thread, this is your choice. Don't take the 50 meter, it's the thinnest. 30 meters is the thickest.

This dental floss works very well and slides easily between the teeth. I have very tight, tightly clenched teeth and it still fits perfectly between them. It doesn't crumble either. I'm one of those baby boomers who really needed braces as a kid but they never came. As I get older, my teeth separate, which also changes the bite. I have to use dental tape but it's so hard to find. This product serves its purpose.

This dental floss is too thick. Just got back from the dentist where I had my crown glued on which was pulled together by this 'rope' of thread. I'm so glad I caught him before he rolled down the drain! Throw away this whole thread.

I have used wax tape for many years. Such a relief that I don't have to worry about cutting my gums when I'm in a hurry. I have tight spaces between my teeth and this tape is thicker but for me it's softer which I appreciate as I floss at least twice a day.

I have crowded teeth but prefer this floss to any other floss/tape I've tried. It cleans a lot better and I find regular filament just doesn't do the job. I actually bought it as a home birth elastic (to tie the umbilical cord) but have never used it for that purpose. When I ran out of the normal thread I used it as an emergency backup and have never looked back.
