It's cute, but not for a beginner.

Nice set. The strands are not very accurate on the card, the guide is a bit small, and the colors are slightly different from the picture. Really cute and fun design.

Little Thread

I love the pattern but the thread keeps breaking! It says the tide may be of a different brand than DMC. I believe this may be the case and this is very poor quality.

Very cute and colorful; nothing for beginners!

This is the third Design Works I've completed and I love the inspirational designs but nothing more. They never included a piece of fabric large enough to satisfy the growers (who like 4 inch margins everywhere) so I'm forced to buy substitute fabric; the yarn is often of poor quality and/or insufficient, so I have to provide the DMC also at extra cost. The chart isn't big enough to be useful because I'm highlighting the squares I've completed. I also question designers' color choices; For…
