Great tabletop, great loads.

Great table top for macro photography. Withstands heavy loads with large lens. I mounted my own tripod head. Vibration-free, ideal for macro photography and extreme close-ups. I bought 2 of these for my two macro setups so I don't have to keep changing them.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Not as good as advertised

Great design and durability.

I love the size and weight of this item. I like that the legs have screws so they can be replaced if you really want to. feels very solid and the ball head fits very well and stays in place. A really great addition to my camera bag.

Pros
  • Finished
Cons
  • Compatible

So it was an easy choice.

Robust design at a low price. The only other alternative seems to be the Platypod, which is overpriced in comparison. This stand has no leg adjustment and therefore requires a flat surface. It didn't matter to my needs so it was an easy choice.

Pros
  • Feel good
Cons
  • Sadness outfit

SUPER USEFUL - A must for EX-PRO foot/base solutions

PAID :: $29.95 - 1/3/16PURPOSE :: I'm trying to add a "base" to my Opteka X-GRIP EX Stabilizer PRO Metal Video Action Pen for DSLRs and Camcorders RESULTS :: Not bad. I would like to increase the width a bit and change the mounting holes slightly. Has given me a safe, solid base for my EX-PRO to stand on the ground without scratching or chafing the bottom of the rig. Also adds a bit of weight to the bottom which really helped stabilize the balance of my rig. PROBLEMS :: Requires multiple 3/8"…

Pros
  • Always excited
Cons
  • I won't say anything
