When someone buys underpants, they buy them for an extra layer of warmth. That's the point - I'm confused - these pants are so thin - which is nice - they fit the body snugly - which is great though - they don't keep you warm - on the contrary they make you colder - if you wear them wear, every breeze or wind of any kind makes you cold. So in summary I think if you wear them in summer they can keep you cool. very strange

I bought XL for this set and am very happy with these products especially the top. For me, this is a versatile long sleeve shirt that I can wear on the street that doesn't look like my regular pajamas. It's damn comfortable and warm, like a fluffy duck. As for the winter gear I can't complain as it kept me warm on a fairly chilly day snowboarding (around 40F). However, I would buy the top and bottom separately if I bought it again. I have a 5ft 10in 195lbs and bought a large one. This is a great lightweight base coat. You have to look/feel very carefully to understand that the inside is actually fleece material. The texture is almost microscopic. They absorb moisture very well and are smooth on the outside, so they don't stretch too much towards outer clothing. (I have other base layers that tend to clump together due to friction.)
