Good price for band saws that I will buy again.

This is a bi-metal blade with aggressive teeth that cuts thick steel quickly and cleanly. I like them better than the Lennox blades we usually use.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Safety

DeWalt is an excellent product.

Excellent saw blades. I bought another brand and broke 3 blades in half an hour. Put on a DeWalt blade and an hour later it's still cutting. Cutting chain link posts.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • No instructions

processed 1/4 mild steel quickly

So far so good. I cut 80 gauge steel tubing, a 1/4 plate and some thick aluminum. Nothing has given them any problems so far. Finished cuts are fairly smooth and burrs are minimal.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

They break very easily

When I use them at the lowest settings I still shoot them in about 10 cuts. I cut a 3/8 steel rod on it which might be part of the problem but I was expecting more since they come in a pipe cutting tool.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Some problems

Not expensive and lasts a long time

Swearing with a blade for a long time and still holding on. Although only slightly more expensive than cheap blades, this one lasts at least three times longer. I will continue to buy them.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Good but not great

Inexpensive and durable

I've abused a blade for a while and it still holds up. Although only slightly more expensive than cheap blades, this one lasts at least three times longer. I will continue to buy them.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Damaged

Flexible? Rather soft.

These blades suck. You wouldn't get any stars if I could. I hadn't made half a dozen cuts when the first blade began to dull. After a few moments it broke at the weld when I tried to tilt it a bit. I was then able to bend the blade without breaking it. I cut annealed steel. The blade that came with my Wen portable band saw lasted longer than all three combined.

Pros
  • Blades
Cons
  • Wrinkled

The blades cut well but I gave them a 3.

The blades cut well because the teeth are very hard (65 HRC). However, hardness will lead to tooth loss if you choose the wrong TPI for your application. I was guilty of this for a while and chewed those blades like crazy. Now I'm using 18 dpi, which is better for my typical material thickness. The blades tire. I usually replace them for fatigue cracks and fractures, not tooth wear. You may need to find a band saw welder. Generally good quality from Dewalt. Will keep buying.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • No instructions
