I would give this unit 5 stars but I hate that it doesn't have a magnetic end. 2 stars off because with this very simple addition it would make a really good tape measure. Aside from that one, it's a great tape measure. If you are looking for a measuring tape without a magnetic end, then go for it.

I have used Dewalt tools for many years. teachings are good. The reason for the 4 stars is that the tab at the end doesn't attach well to the band. It moves back and forth about 1/32 inch, causing measurement inaccuracies. If you don't need the EXACT measurement, that's fine. However, if you are cutting wood and need accurate measurements, I should start at the 1 inch mark, not the beginning of the tape measure. I wish they had better secured the rivets on the band and end tongue.

Disappointed. I was looking for a model of a DeWalt carpentry/woodworking tape measure with an extra shot and count marks on the bottom of the gauge, so the accuracy of this product did not meet my goals. no fold, but excessive indentation (to avoid wrinkling) may make label difficult to read as tape does not lay flat. The description can also be misleading. What DeWalt Roulette model number are some customers looking for?
