waste of money. good money for it.

Tried to force it. Wrapped with connection cables. Worst $150 I've spent in a long time. I've bought every Dewalt but this one made me reevaluate. It's a good light and phone charger when you're away from a power source, but it's not what the main component should have been.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • I have doubts

Great device with the right battery

This charger/jumper was great. I think most of the bad reviews are from people using 5 amp batteries or less. Use this with a 6 amp or 9 amp flexvolt and it works amazing. As most people have commented this will not jump from a dead and worn out battery due to an internal safety circuit.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • New competitors emerged

Not good. It's not bad either.

Great concept. And for charging lawnmowers, it works very well. I put a flexible 9a volt in it which gives it the power it needs to run but unfortunately this blocks the LEDs. At the 20V voltage most users have this thing is useless, so the fact that the flexible voltage blocks the LEDs burns a bit. I would not buy again. But I'm not mad at my purchase either, as it came in handy for me.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Nothing here

Great concept but no practical application

Useless tool. - It won't even turn on when it thinks the battery is low. plug charger. The LEDs are completely blocked by a flexible battery, which is really the battery needed for any job. Dewalt really needs to go back to the drawing board on this one. The idea of using batteries that people already have and keep charging is a great idea, but they really didn't hit the mark. Maybe they'll come out with a max version that's more usable in the real world.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • No

Don't waste your money on it.

I bought this sweater because I liked that I could use it with my Dewalt batteries. I work with small motors so thought it would be great to replace the aging large jumper. This thing doesn't work. If the car battery is completely empty, the jumper will not even turn on. I tried to start my 6 cylinder truck the other day and it didn't tip over. For use on small hardware, most of the time it doesn't even work. It gets to the point where I don't even take it because I don't want to waste my time.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • There are cons

I am a huge Dewalt fan and user. Got some tools, give them as gifts, grew up with them from 18 volt chainsaw to 40 volt. Because of their core quality, customer service never had to be called. I hope you never have to either. They are open from 9am to 5pm. Practical for do-it-yourselfers, no. The phone wait time was an hour before my phone battery died on the first call (music was good). Background: LED lights worked, phone charger worked, charger discharge button, light and function did not…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Almost never
