This hose accessory worked perfectly when I decided to add a second engine temperature sensor after disconnecting the required Cherokee engine switch. And I didn't even have to drain the engine coolant. Simply hold the radiator hose as high as possible at the interface and place a suitable container under the hose. I didn't spill more than 1/4 cup in the container. Just be careful.
