Poor quality: Hard drive accessories

Pros: Hard drive attached Cons: Cannot be removed as the spring arm and front cover broke right after installation. Better quality.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Functionality

Worked great! on computers and accessories

Used to get rid of a broken internal optical drive (I have an external Blu-ray drive anyway) and used it to store a 500GB hard drive. I now use this second drive for storage and have upgraded the internal drive to a 1TB SSD. Now it's like a new laptop. MARVELOUS.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Great addition! for computer accessories and peripherals

Great upgrade for my Dell Latitude e6520. Installed great and they even give you a free screwdriver to attach the hard drive to the caddy. Shuffles like a factory add-on and when you want to go back to your DVD drive it only takes a few seconds. Very good value for money.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Minor issues

I wouldn't buy this again. The front panel is easy to remove!

I wouldn't buy it again. The front panel/cover can be easily removed. I have another same driver holder from another company. I couldn't find that particular model so I tried this one. I would have liked a different, higher quality drive bay, but for the price I can't really complain.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • I have no negative feelings about it, everything is fine

Buy yourself some tape while you do it

Assembly seems very cheap, but at least it was pretty cheap. You could probably bend it in half with your hands. At least you only have to play around with it once. The plastic frame also feels very cheap and fell off and took some effort to stick back on. There were also no installation instructions and it took me a while to figure out that you have to loosen the three screws on the left and far right, then insert the hard drive and then screw it in. Speaking of screws, one of my screws wasโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • Security
