The first square stone diamond painting I did. At first I really didn't like the square stone, but as I made a few rows I realized the beauty of using square stones. Although I plan to buy diamond paintings that I like, if they come with a square stone it's a bonus. First let me say that I really like this picture and wanted to frame it and hang it in my bedroom. I was struggling to align the drills and at first thought it was because I had never worked with square drills. I quickly found that the adhesive layer on the canvas had deteriorated. I was really excited about this set, the artist is one of my favorites. My first disappointment came when I found out the glue was double sided (DSA) and not pot glue. However, it had all the problems DSA has always had: rises and bubbles, sticky glue. If you don't want to deal with these issues, do yourself a favor and go to YouTube and watch a video on how to remove the DSA and turn it into an adhesive-filled canvas.
