Quality for the price

That sucks! Don't buy this. I bought it at the end of May 2020. Only used a few times and already broken. Don't waste money on it.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Frequency

Very disappointed - jumpers, chargers and portable power

Compared to other chargers similar to the ones I've had, this is very disappointing, I've never been able to start a nearly dead battery although mine old units handle it.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Some bugs

Easy standby and use

I was disappointed with this charger. It's much easier to maintain and simpler than I expected. My old die hard charger that eventually gave up was a much more durable device with plenty of starting power as opposed to this one. I wouldn't buy it again.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Not sure

Very strong upside opportunity.

I bought this charger with boost function to replace the old broken one on the farm. I mainly use it to start a big John Deere snow clearing tractor on cold days. The boost works very well, especially when turning on the glow plug on the 6-cylinder diesel engine.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • I don't remember

250A? No way ! on Tools & Equipment

In start mode, the voltage should quickly rise to 250A. These are also the duty cycles of the current applied. Even in Boost 50A mode it does the same. "rDY" was displayed all the time in Run mode. Didn't show any voltage except in charge mode. It's too slow for my use. I run a generator for electricity. I will not run 20 hours!

Pros
  • Amazing
Cons
  • I won't say anything

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND BE AWARENESS

It's a huge piece of crap that keeps turning off and after a few months I had it. I have yet to get it working properly. Trying to talk to DieHard about support gets nowhere. Every number I call they tell me I'm calling the wrong place and they give me another number to call. An endless carousel of calls with zero results. I honestly think they sold me a crappy income with no support. SAVE MONEY and skip this product!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Poor quality for Diehard

The grip and display are poorly designed, not what you would expect from a reliable $200 charger. The device should have reverse polarity protection, but it doesn't work. When I put it in boost mode it never applied power to the 10 volt battery, the fan turned on but I held a voltmeter to it and it never started charging. I read and followed the instructions but it just didn't do what it said it would do. I never tried the boost start feature, I learned enough just trying to charge the battery.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good and working but needs better quality control and stronger grip.

Comes in standard packaging, works as expected. After taking the product out of the box, I found that the plastic handle and cable management are of poor design. They work, but the grip is what you'd expect from plastic. Not much better than the one your kid pulls out on their wheeled backpack. I expect more than that from this company and also the price. Second, there is a plastic "plate" on the front that houses the buttons, which is glued to the top for alignment of the buttons etc. This…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Some issues
