Type of review

When I tried this product, I found that the polyvinyl insulation was flimsy and easily prone to wear and tear. Even with careful handling the insulation started peeling off and became a safety hazard. While this thermocouple may be suitable for a residential setting, it is definitely not up to the task for industrial and scientific use. Save yourself the hassle and invest in a more reliable product..

PHOTO DIFFERENT FROM THAT SUPPLIED

Product is an EXTENSION GRADE thermocouple. The photo is of type J, but it's just supposed to be the wrong type of T/C and not a random photo.
