Simple to set the time and display brightness. I put it by the TV since my new DVR box lacks a time display, and I would look at the DVR box multiple times to check the time. Ugh! This does the trick. The numbers are plenty bright and large enough to read from across the room. Quite happy with my purchase.

I was searching for a red digital Alarm Clock for my bedroom at night. I get up a few times a night and need to note the time. This is the perfect size to put in front of my 42 inch television. Very good quality and the brightness can be adjusted. It's really a surprising little clock ! I'll buy it again if the need arises !

Works as advertised. Not difficult to set or program. Perfect size. Can use an Off display setting so that it still keeps time but the display is off. That would make it ideal for travel. You would then be able to leave it in your travel bag while using little power.

It works well in the dark and in the day it's washed out. Unfortunately I needed it to sit in a box and be read constantly, just not the clock for me! Great in the house.

The newer CATV boxes have no clock. This baby needs no AC outlet and is small and sits next to CATV box. Keeps good time too.

I wanted a clock with a bright display for my bedroom and this one works well, but the display isn't as bright as I expected - it's not too dim, but it's also not nearly as bright as the one in the item description shows. I don't think any clock that runs on batteries alone will get too bright, but I took one star because of the misleading image

5 stars for build quality. I would recommend a few design changes. The snooze pad on top has no tactile feel. I am going to place an adhesive raised dot there so in the early morning I can find the push area to snooze. I would request a function to turn the current alarm session off by pushing the snooze button 3 times. What is recommended now is to push "any button" to turn off alarm until tomorrow. If I need to read a long list of instructions to use the clock, then it does not meet my needs. I’m not going to remember all the instructions, so would need to keep them handy. Too much trouble. I ordered a simple quartz alarm clock that is easier to use. No instructions needed.

This is just the product you need if you only need to use an alarm clock on an infrequent basis. The alarm is good, setting it and turning it off are easy. Very good value.

Bought this clock for interior cruise cabin. Not too bright. But large enough to read time. very simple. Does have an alarm to set. but purchased so I can tell what time it is on vacation.

These compact little clocks fit well in all the places I need to see the time. We took out the TIVO (which had the time on it) in the case under our TV and suddenly didn't have the time right there. One of these clocks was perfect. They are a little hard to set up but the directions are in clear English and once I got the hang of it I was fine.
