I needed a simple travel case to protect my screen and not just toss my Vita in my backpack and this fit the bill. There's enough room in the bag for a couple of games or memory cards (though for the price of Vita memory cards, do people really have more than one?) as well as a couple of straps to keep the Vita in place. Excellent, relatively thin cover to protect my biography. The Slim Vita fits tighter into the case than my original, but it protects my console well in transit. It has 2 large mesh pockets and 4 game card slots. I didn't use mesh pockets for anything as they don't hold charging cords, but I did try game card slots.
