A part of the mind. in the kitchen and dining area

I bought a very old social media freezer and wanted to make sure it would hold the temperature before I filled it with food. That works great!

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Update Availability

Worked great for a few weeks

Worked great for a few weeks. Now it only shows 33.3 and the correct temperature is 21.2, this is with an external sensor and with the device configured for autonomous operation. I would look for another thermometer, not this item.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • Secret

Good unit but instructions need work

I searched and searched and finally found the C to F button hidden under the stand on the back which has to be removed to press the button. To press the button, a very small jeweler's screwdriver must be inserted into the hole.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Poor alarm function

Bought to let me know if the freezer door doesn't close all the way to catch it before we lose a ton of food (again). Easy to set up and program, good magnet BUT the alarm clock is weak, only works for a few seconds and doesn't repeat. So if you're not home or just can't hear the alarm when it goes off, it doesn't offer any protection at all. A repeated and slightly louder alarm would solve the problem, but without it it's completely useless for my purposes.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Good mostly but...

Check change. Didn't even last a year. Buy a different model.

IT DID NOT LAST A YEAR. BUY ANOTHER MODEL. THIS WAS MY REVIEW SO FAR: It works great and I have it on the outside of the fridge with the little probe held in place with some kind of tape. After losing almost $1,000 on my last freezer failure, I didn't want to risk it anymore! The only thing I don't like is that the freeze alarm isn't loud - you don't hear it inside the house (my freezer is in the garage) only when you go into the garage. And it was a bit confusing to set up (instructions not…

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • For the old
