Needed something to carry two espressos for my afternoon Americano. I brew two shots in and I had hot water on the job and I'm ready. When I add water in the morning it still stays hot, but I prefer it hot. I close it and throw it in the lunch box. Never spill a drop.

The mug/thermos is just what I was looking for. I had a hard time finding 8oz. The thermos has a roll top lid, not a screw top lid. It actually keeps drinks hot longer than advertised. The seal is good, no leaks. Your customer service is very good. I wrote a question before buying, they answered quickly.

I was ready to return this item, took it with both hands to open it. After reading the product page a bit, I finally found the instructions for this little silver button. I suspect this is due to operator error. Works great now and great for those "8 ounce servings" on the go.

It's good that Diller makes smaller thermoses/bottles. I have a slightly larger mug that I use for great coffee and it fits in my lunch bag. Very disappointing. The large one I have has never leaked and the buttons open perfectly. But a bottle soaking everything else in the bag is useless.

Don't worry about leaking. However, I carried it in a sealed plastic bag. For me, this is the perfect bottle for late-night hot drinks to keep me awake. It's a little tricky to clean if you have to worry about residual moisture. to get your backpack. (Because you're cleaning it properly without wetting the outside of the bottle).
