This is the cutest of them all and I am having a lot of fun cross stitching this pattern for a friend; However, it has many colors and shades, and a beginner might want to start with an easier set unless they're up to the challenge. Check the sizes so you won't be disappointed. It's smaller.

Made and decorated for an elderly mother as a New Year's gift. she liked it! Would like more color variations. This is nothing for a beginner. I am an experienced embroiderer with dozens of completed projects. I had to keep a close eye on my pattern to avoid mistakes.

This may have been obvious to people who aren't entirely new like me, but this kit comes without an embroidery hoop! But everything else is excellent. The instructions are clear. The threads are well laid so they don't get tangled. I think it was also a good size choice for my entry level skills.

We have a yellow golden retriever and a tabby cat; I bought this pattern to basically draw my pets. Our cat is browner, but that's easily fixed. Also wishful thinking, I've never seen them curl up but they get along well. None of them are that pleasant, but I can dream! Sizes do a great job with their sets, clear charts, generous materials, good general instructions for technique and workmanship. I love her designs and have made several.
