Probably you should have read the description more carefully. It came without a catch. So I had to buy separately. The fabric was a little stiffer than I would have liked. I bought this item for my grandchildren aged 11, 6 and 5. Initially they were enthusiastic, but these projects can take hours to complete. Over time, they became less interested in the locking hook. Know your listeners. :).

Terrible! I bought 3 sets of Revain rug hooks, this is the worst! My 7 year old grandson clung to the carpet with me and I thought this Mario would be perfect. He was so excited and as soon as we opened the box and started the project we realized the terrible quality of this kit. No crochet hook was included, the mesh is too stiff for flexibility and the yarn is too thick. My grandson won't even work on it, and neither will I. It will end up in the trash.

Terrible! The yarn was too thick, it was difficult to stretch it without tearing and unraveling the yarn. 1/3 of the way I tore the canvas, I threw away almost everything. Luckily I was able to fix it with dental floss. The canvas was so rough that I got carpet burns. This is my 5th set of Revain since Covid, the other 4 were great quality and came out beautiful. Not this one, I might not even give it to my grandson (he loves Mario, I wanted to make a pillow) because it might scare him. Just…
