The instructions are easy to follow. The illustrations were helpful and they included drawing the sizes of the pieces for me to line up to make sure I got the right size for the torso, neck, legs etc. I guess because of this I didn't need to add any extra elements. There is a lot of wool, but I did a little to make the legs stronger. I also added my own eyes. I didn't like the look of just woolly eyes. I love the finished product!

Excellent starter set for beginners in wool felting. I bought this for my teenager who needed something to do. she likes animals She loved it, I think these kits are a great way to get into this hobby. It has everything you need to produce a llama. I don't recommend this for young children, but teenagers should be fine with it. Also, a lot of yarn was included in this set, so you don't have to worry about running out of yarn. I appreciate it.

This was my first needle felting project and I really enjoyed it. The sizing information in the instructions saved lives. For the price you get materials and instructions. I was planning to order some yarn and buy downloadable instructions from another site. But the download cost was almost the same as this product with materials and tools. It was a really great introduction to needle felting.
