This crib blanket just finished. It took me 18 days, 4 hours a day. It's very bright, much brighter than the picture. It has a lot of blue in it and if you knew you were going to give it to a girl it would be easy to change the wording to pink. I recommend doing the markup first.

I made a teddy bear blanket for my best friend for the first time. Now I'm doing this for the first time. What bothers me the most is the quality of the materials. The materials in these kits strike me as of high quality. No wonder since it was put together by Dimensions. I've been doing this for years, so it was pretty easy for me. I also think it would be "doable" for a newbie. Instructions are good etc. This kit has everything you need EXCEPT the backing pad. But depending on how you flash…

I bought this for my niece. If you work on it consistently, I think you can finish this quilt in 2 months. Unfortunately, I'm not that faithful to my work. As for the product, the instructions are easy to follow if you are an experienced cross stitcher. If you're still learning or consider yourself an amateur, I'd recommend starting as early as possible and giving yourself plenty of time to figure things out as you go. Oh my goodness packaged - single and colored threads! no guess. I just started this quilt on Sunday evening. It happens like the wind. First I had to call the sizing maker 3 times because the split thread confused me a little as they packed 4 threads together and then 1 thread separately with the same color and number but they explained that it was just to show you what " color” was. I don't think they had to, but that's ok. Also another minus point - if you have vision problems you may need to
