Very difficult to mount on DIN rail

I had to take it off the aluminum DIN rail as the clips would not open and the rail could bend. I was going to use them for the Pi's project, but that was a total breach of the deal. I had to send them back.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Easy to use, easy to modify

I have ordered them 3 times for use in a DIN rail mounted Raspberry Pi cluster and they are a delight. I modified them by removing the plastic posts and widening the holes so I could mount the POE hat and it was very easy to do with a drill and some flush cutters.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • sad packaging

I bought 3 packs and after installing the first one and seeing how loose it was I hoped this board was a manufacturing defect. The second had…

I hope they release version #2 of this product.

I hope they release version #2 of this product. There is no easy way to attach a Pi that has a HAT attached. You are expected to use the supplied sheet metal screws to attach the Pi to the DINrPlate and this leaves no way to attach the HAT to the top of the Pi (I wanted to be able to use the brass posts to attach the HAT to be connected to the DINrboard). Pi.). Another issue is that none of my micro USB power connectors have shared the DINrPlate. To solve both problems I drilled holes in the…
